Horse Riding and Trekking – whether you book a riding horse as part of a horse caravan trip, or you would like to take part in a trek or riding lesson at a local equestrian centre, there are many great ways to discover Wicklow on horseback.
Fishing – Wicklow has a great choice of river and sea fishing and our farm at Cronybyrne and many of the horse caravan stops have a river on site or nearby. We can provide fishing rods on loan or you are welcome to bring your own.
Cycling -From Mountain Bike trails to scenic road routes there is a great cycling choice available for all levels of ability. You are welcome to bring your own bikes with you or we can happily help to organise rental bikes for your stay with us.
Golf – Wicklow has an exceptional selection of links and parkland golf courses set in some of the most scenic landscapes Ireland has to offer.
Water Sports – for those drawn to the water there are various activities in Wicklow to try your hand at. Why not paddle your way around in a kayak , or try your luck at surfing at the Wicklow Surf School. Boat Charters from Wicklow Town for sightseeing tours & angling trips are also available.
Nature Walks & Bird Watching – Bird-watchers stand a good chance of spotting some fine species in Wicklow’s varied landscapes, including in the nature reserve bordering our farm at Cronybyrne. You may also encounter deer, foxes, squirrels and lots of rabbits along the way!
