Wicklow Breweries

Ireland has long been associated with the brewing of beer, from the earliest recording of brewing over 5000 years ago, to the world famous pint of Guinness.

More recently there has been a real resurgence of Craft Beer in Ireland and Wicklow is no exception with Wicklow Wolf Brewery and The Wicklow Brewery both producing some delicious beers. Both breweries are now offering tours and tasting and are just a short 20 minute drive from our farm. Get behind the scenes and learn all about the magic of the brewing process.

Distilleries in Wicklow

Housed in the Old Mill House on Powerscourt Estate, The Powerscourt Distillery offer tours of the distillery and the warehouse that give a wonderful insight into the time and care put into every bottle. Three beautiful custom-designed copper pot stills form the Distillery centrepiece and tours include a Food and Whiskey Pairing experience.

From Ireland’s first craft distillery in Glendalough you can enjoy single grain whiskey and seasonal gins foraged from the freshest and most interesting local botanicals, berries and fruit. All the plants are sustainably foraged in the Wicklow Hills by one person, every day they distil which brings the flavour to a whole new level. They are not yet offering tours but are available at our lovely local restaurant The Wicklow Heather.
