On Our Farm

Get the whole family outside in nature on a fun Donkey Walking Experience, a guided Horse Caravan Tour or a cosy Glamping stay. The kids will love stomping around the farm, toasting marshmallows and gazing at the stars. It’s the perfect place to make memories to last a lifetime.

Donkey Experiences
Our lovely donkeys with their furry coats and long ears are always a family favourite. Let the kids spend happy hours on a Donkey Experience where they can learn how to care for, brush and feed them. We even take the donkeys for a little walk in the woods and there’s a lovely hot chocolate waiting for when we get home!
Horse and Caravan Experience
Enjoy a sleepover with a difference and snuggle up as a family with a good bedtime story. The caravans have everything you need for a cosy night and we promise they’ll sleep well after a day of fresh air!

Room to Roam
Sit back, put your feet up and watch them embrace the freedom of playing outside in a safe and adventurous environment. There’s plenty to explore on the farm and lots of wide open spaces to run around.
Holidays Unplugged
Put the gadgets away and swap screen time for family time in the great outdoors. There’s lots to do together like collecting firewood, toasting marshmallows and singing around the campfire or even a good old game of cards.

By the Sea

With some of the best coastal views on the East Coast and long sandy beaches to enjoy, Wicklow is the perfect destination for a Family day out by the Sea.

Kayaking
Wicklow Kayaking offer kayak rental and instruction on the beautiful River Vartry, located right in the centre of Wicklow Town and just a 20 minute drive from our farm. With your kayak, paddle the gentle waters of Broad Lough, an intertidal lough that is fed by the Vartry River and drains out to sea at Wicklow Harbour
National Sealife Centre
Sealife aquarium on the seafront in Bray is a perfect family fun day out with over 1100 underwater animals, 30 displays, hourly public feeds of the animals and a kid’s quiz trail. Pick your favourite from sharks to clownfish, sea horses to jellyfish, or even the clever octopus, there’s lots to see for all ages.

Surfing
Brittas Bay Surf School is just a 20 minute drive from our farm glampsite and a great way to spend a day on the water with family or friends. They provide a friendly, safe and fun introduction to surfing at the unspoilt sandy beach of Brittas Bay. The combination of adrenaline, idyllic Wicklow surroundings and the satisfaction of catching your first few waves makes for a truly unforgettable experience and a hot soup or coffee at the Bay Café is the best way to round off the day!
Brittas Bay
We may not always get the perfect weather but a visit to the long sandy beach at Brittas Bay is always a firm favourite with the kids and just 20 minutes from the farm. If you are feeling brave you can have a swim or take a surf lesson or otherwise just enjoy a stroll and let the kids have fun collecting shells.

Adventurous kids?

There’s plenty of outdoor action for kids to enjoy with water parks, ziplines, tree-top walks with a giant slide and a farm Maze to puzzle through!

Clara Lara Activity Park
For a fun family day out in the fresh air why not visit Clara Lara Funpark, just 6 minutes’ drive from the farm. Quality time together has never been so much fun with waterslides, row boats, go karts, mini golf and playgrounds all in a natural woodland setting.
Greenan Maze & Farm
A visit to Greenan Maze and Farm will also keep the kids fully occupied with something for everyone to enjoy. Just 15 minutes’ drive from our farm you can puzzle your way through the maze, follow the wild nature walk and visit the friendly farm animals.

Squirrels Scramble
Set in a natural forest with more than 40 different challenges to climb, balance, slide and crawl, Squirrels Scramble is the perfect day out for young explorers as well as the young at heart and just a 30 minutes’ drive from the farm. Zoom along the zip-lines through narrow passages in the woods for a thrilling adventure!
Beyond the Trees - Avondale
An exhilarating experience for all ages at Avondale Forest featuring Ireland’s 1st Treetop Walk & Viewing Tower. At the end of the treetop walk, hidden away in the viewing tower there is a gigantic slide for anyone feeling adventurous!

Rainy days? Not a problem…

Don’t let rain showers spoil the fun, there’s plenty to do indoors if it’s a bit wet outside!

Cool Planet

“A Great 2 Days”

Beautiful facility in a stunningly beautiful location. The kids had a ball and absolutely loved the donkeys. The donkey walk was really enjoyable and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. We had a great 2 days and our grandchildren want to return.
