Tour 1

3 Night Wicklow Explorer

For those passionate about exploring, Tour 1 offers the maximum caravan travelling time with with 2 days travelling on the road with your horse and caravan. Get to spend extra time with your trusty 4 legged guide on route and return each day to enjoy the full facilities of our farm.

Tour 2

3 Night Mountain Discovery

Experience Ireland’s Ancient East at its very best combining 1 day travelling with the horse caravan and a taxi ride the following day to discover the Wicklow Mountains National Park and the world-famous Glendalough monastic site and lakes.

Tour 3

3 Night Horse & Donkey

Enjoy a day with one of our gentle giants travelling by horse caravan and the following day, accompany one of our friendly donkeys on a leisurely walking tour. Get off the beaten track on country lanes and forest paths and explore the beauty of the Wicklow hills.

“Touring Wicklow”

Holiday with a Horse

Over 70% of our new visitors have no horse experience at all.

Our horses, Irish Cobs, are famous for being strong, quiet and docile. We take great care to match you with a horse especially selected for your route and your ability.

We provide all our 3 Night Tour visitors with a full ‘horse instruction’ which consists of your learning and practicing how to catch, look after, harness and drive your horse. If you need any assistance along the way, we are only a call away! We can happily arrange to add a guide/driver to your booking on advance request and at an additional cost. This way you can still get involved and hands on with the reassurance of extra assistance should you need it.

For our guided 2.5 hour Tours you will have a guide to travel with you and the tour can be as hands on as you would like. There will be plenty of time to groom the horse and harness up and you’ll be taught how to hold the reins and drive the caravan. Back at the farm you’ll even have a chance to give your horse a nice cooling shower!
