A colourful glamping gypsy caravan, BUTTERCUP is based on our family farm with friendly horses and donkeys and stunning views of the Wicklow countryside. The glamping caravan is compact and cosy (5m long and 2m wide) so perfectly suited to a couple or family with children. There is a fold down double bed at the back and a pull out double bed across the walkway at the front. All bedding and bed linen are included as are towels and some extra cuddly blankets for over your shoulders in the evening and hot water bottles to snuggle up with.

The heated shower and toilet block is just 100m from the caravan and has excellent powerful hot showers and a hairdryer. Upstairs in the communal area we offer free wifi, charge points for electronics, Nespresso coffee and tea facilities and information and maps of the area.

Your glamping caravan is fully kitted out for a relaxing self-catering stay with gas cooker with 2 rings and a grill for a lazy morning brunch or a pre hike feast and whistling kettle and coffee press – very handy when the kitchen is almost touching distance from the bed!

For those that don’t feel like cooking there are some excellent restaurant and pub grub options just a 10 minute drive away and a selection of restaurants that will deliver take-away food to the farm. We are happy to help arrange taxis if you would rather not drive and some restaurants will offer free lifts home after your meal.

Some reviews of our accommodation:

We have been living in Ireland for a year and visited many places. Neasa’s place was a very special one!! The location, close to Dublin, however you felt as if you were in the most remote area of ireland. Wicklow is an amazing county and has so much to offer! We stayed with three friends in the caravan and absolutely loved it!! Very cosy and yet all the things you might need. The toilets and showers were spotless and close to the caravan. Neasa was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. If you are looking for something different in a beautiful part of ireland, I can highly recommend this wonderful place!

We had a large group of 8 friends that thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Neasa and Alan were incredibly helpful on arrival , with clear instructions and directions to amenities and how to make most of experience. We managed to squeeze 4 into each caravan which was manageable and made it a great price! Beautiful quaint spot and we BBQ’d and bonfired and had lot of fun exploring the land… even from an Irish person’s perspective it was something very unique and different. We all had cars so location wasn’t an issue although it is very remote so it would be tricky without!
